TV Programme Review

I would like to tell you my great favourite TV series, Full House.
This is the American TV programme created by Jeff Franklin, and is loved all over the world for a long time.
I grew up watching this outstanding sit-com via reruns and I've seen all seasons as soon as I became a big fan of it.
It is set in San Francisco, and about family loves and bonds.
A widowed father, Danny, who is a sportscaster, have three lovely daughters; his eldest daughter DJ, his second daughter Stephanie, and little baby Michelle.
After his wife got killed in a traffic accident by a drunk driver, he asked his two best friends, a very funny comedian Joey, and Danny's brother-in-law Jesse who is a musician and crazy about Elvis Presly.
Then, they come to move into his house and the three fathers try hard to combine their business with raising their kids like cooking, cleaning, Michelle's diaper changing assisting each other.
It's described about normal family lives, but the circumstance is very different and unusual.
It's so hilarious, because each characters is very unique and especially the three daughters are very lovely and a little bit conceited, so we can't resist laughing at this.
I love a little baby, Michelle♥
She is so adorable and she makes my heart comforted.
I love the moving episode of separation between Jesse and Michelle so much.
They have the closest relationships in their family, so their strong bonds make me very impressed.
In addition, sometimes, the stories focus on social problems such as bullying, alcohole, tobacco, and make us thought about these problems deeply, and move us to tears.
Unfortunately, this sit-com had never been given an award, but I believe this is totally a masterpiece I have ever seen.
The story is not only for children and the teens but also for the adults, so anyone enjoy watching it.
When I will have my children, I would like them to watch.
That's why I really recommend this TV programme!!!

My Best 3 Designs in V&A British Design Exhibition

We went to V&A museum and watched British Design Exhibition on May 31st.

There are 3 galleries; the tension between tradition and modernity, the subversive impulse in Britain culture, and Britain’s leadership in design innovation and creativity in the exhibition.

I would like to tell you my favorite 3 designs in each galleries.

In the tradition and modernity gallery, I chose “The Flowers of the Fields of France” as my favorite design.

This is the evening dress which is made by Norman Hartnell(1901-1979) in 1957.

He made this dress, because Queen Elizabethwould wear it and visit to Paris in 1957.

It is designed using lots of gold beads, fasted glass, brilliants, and various pearls.

Also, the embroidered design includes miniature bees, grasses, wheat, and wild flowers.

It is so elegant that I think I wish I would wear such a dress someday.

According to the summary, these designs were expressed as French motifs like the flowers of France and large gold bees, the emblem of Napoleon.

It would appeal to praise the French nation and draw attention to the Queen.

I believe that it is well-designed because it was intended not just gorgeous designs but considered for France.

Next, in the subversive gallery, I thought “Peachy” made by Mary Quant (born 1934) in 1960 was the best design.

Dress - Peachy

Mary Quant is known as one of the famous designers in the world.

She tried to break with convention and made clothes for the young.

This wood and tweed dress is coloured vivid red and the length of the skirt is short.

I think such designs are absolutely stylish and functional at that time, because it is easier to move than any other dresses then.

That’s why the popularity of her designs has been kept even now.

I have some cute pouches and one-piece dresses designed by Mary QuantJ

Finally, I picked out “Classic Chicken House” made by Eglu Omlet in 2005 in the innovation and creativity gallery.

Image of Barn Farm Plants

It is made of plastic, so it looks very smart and innovative.

This design might not match in the farms, but it must be attracted our attention.

This is the very purpose for the good.

Nowadays, many young people have become indifferent to farming.

According to the summary, this chicken house was aimed at consumers increasingly concerned with issues such as animal welfare and food miles, and also appeals to environmentally aware the customers.

I believe these three works are very good ideas and designs.

My Favorite Movie

I would like to recommend my favorite movie, "Kramer vs. Kramer" to you.

This film is a 1979 American drama film, and is set in Manhhattan, New York.

It was based on a novel by Avery Corman, and directed by Robert Benton.

It was so touching that it was nominated for 8 Oscars and it won 5.

It is described the process of family love between Ted Kramer (Dustin Hoffman), who is a workaholic man and his little son Billy(Justin Henry) after Ted divorced his wife Joanna(Meryl Steep).

First of all, Ted could not do housework and take care his son well, because he had depended on his wife everything, but he tried everything involved his work hard even though he is clumsy, so he became to be able to do everything little by little, and also the ties of the father and child became deeper and deeper.

Oneday, Joanna tried to regain the child custody although she had accepted as it for Ted at first, then it was come to trial and she won.

Therefore, Ted and Billy had to live separately, so they got extremely depresed.

However, Joanna changed her mind, because she recognised that they are bound by very rigid ties.

In the end, Ted and Joannna reconciled and Ted and Billy became to be able to live together.

This film is very heart-warming story and made me thought how valuable and important the family bonds are.

That's why I want you to watch this film!!!
